As a mom with a son with severe allergies these bag tags mean alot to me. When he started school I didnt know if he would be safe, will the school staff be able to recognize if he was starting to have a reaction and i was not certain that my son would be able to verbalize what he was feeling despite some very scary trips the emergency room.
 
You can never be too cautious. Know your schools allergy management policy, make sure the teachers and staff are aware, provide your school with an epipen, have your child carry one with them and speak with your child about allergy safety in their school environment ie no sharing food...
